The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has prepared a complete roadmap for the next 15 years. For this, it has prepared a calendar of space missions till the year 2040. Many information related to India's space mission has come to light from this. In this direction, the first un-crewed mission of the Gaganyaan mission is going to be launched in the next three months. Its final preparations are underway. After this, two robotic Gaganyaans will go, in which the humanoid robot Vyommitra will be sent. Humanoid means a robot that can behave like a human with the help of artificial intelligence. There is a plan to send astronauts in late 2025 or early 2026. Out of the four astronauts (Gaganauts) selected for the Gaganyaan mission, two Indian astronauts will orbit the Earth for three days.
ISRO will send 3 human flights by 2029 ISRO has planned to send two Indian astronauts to space three times in five years. Based on the success of the mission, the number of astronauts and days may increase. After the first Gaganyaan mission, there is a plan to send astronauts to space through the second human flight of Gaganyaan in 2026-27 and the third human flight in 2028-29. 6 satellites will be launched next year ISRO will launch six satellites next year. This includes GSAT-7R for the Navy, GSAT-7B for the Army, GSAT-N2 for broadband and in-flight connectivity, GSAT-N3 for defense, paramilitary, railways, fisheries, besides two satellites to maintain connectivity with Gaganyaan. 6 surveillance satellites will also be launched.
ISRO's Space Mission Calendar
Plan to bring back humans by orbiting the moon (by conducting lunar flyby) in 2024-25. Chandrayaan-4 mission will be launched in 2026-27. There is a plan to bring samples (collection/return) from the surface of the moon. After this, there will be Chandrayaan-5, which will be called Loopex mission. In 2028, Module-1 of the Indian Space Station will be sent into space. During this, there will also be a demo of the indigenous spacecraft docking experiment (Spadax). In this, two spacecrafts moving in space can be connected to each other. A humanoid mission will be sent to the moon in 2031. There is a plan to establish an Indian space station in 2035. Plan to land an Indian robotic humanoid on the surface of the moon in 2037-38. Shukrayaan will be sent to study Venus.
Indians are planning to land on the surface of the moon in 2040. What is Mission Gaganyaan Gaganyaan is India's first human space flight mission under which four astronauts will go to space. This will be a 3 day mission, under which a team of astronauts will be sent to the Earth's orbit 400 KM above. After this, the crew module will be safely landed in the sea. If India succeeds in its mission, it will become the fourth country to do so. Before this, America, China and Russia have done this.
