क्षेत्र की पारंपरिक और विविध संस्कृति और जीवंत जीवन को प्रदर्शित करते हुए, हॉर्नबिल महोत्सव का 10 दिवसीय 24वां संस्करण 1 दिसंबर को सुरम्य नागा विरासत गांव किसामा में शुरू हुआ।

नागा घंटियों की थाप, लॉग ड्रम की ध्वनि, पारंपरिक युद्ध घोष और गोलियों की आवाज के साथ, रंगीन वन पक्षी के नाम पर वार्षिक हॉर्नबिल महोत्सव, 61वें नागालैंड राज्यत्व दिवस समारोह के साथ शुरू हुआ। 5 दिसंबर तक मेले के पहले पांच दिनों में नागालैंड के हॉर्नबिल महोत्सव में करीब 22 हजार लोग आए हैं।

Showcasing the traditional and diverse culture and vibrant life of the region, the 10-day 24th edition of the Hornbill Festival began on December 1 at the picturesque Naga heritage village Kisama. With the peal of Naga bells, sound of log drums, traditional war cries and sound of gunshots, the annual Hornbill Festival, named after the colorful forest bird, began with the 61st Nagaland Statehood Day celebrations. Around 22 thousand people have visited the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland in the first five days of the fair till December 5.
