Under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, cards have been issued to 65 lakh 83 thousand 726 farmers in the state. Central schemes are being implemented better in the state. The state government is making continuous efforts to make the farmers strong and prosperous. 3 lakh 44 thousand farmers of the state have registered for soybean procurement. The soybean procurement process will start from October 25. Soybean will be purchased at the minimum support price of Rs 4,892 per quintal. Coarse grains (jowar, millet) will be procured from November 22 and paddy from December 2. The state government has decided to provide short-term agricultural loan (maximum up to Rs 3 lakh) to farmers at zero percent interest rate.
