On 18 October, Jyoti Chauhan, daughter of Sardarpur in Dhar district, played her first international football match against Pakistan in Nepal. Jyoti Chauhan, an emerging football player from Sardarpur town, scored her first goal for the Indian team yesterday. Jyoti Chauhan was selected in the Indian team for the SAF football competition being played in Nepal. On 18 October, in the first match of the competition, the Indian women's football team faced its arch rival Pakistan. The Indian players defeated Pakistan 5-2 in this match. Jyoti's coach Shailendra Pal told during the discussion that Jyoti Chauhan of Sardarpur, representing the Indian team in the competition, was brought on the field in the second half. As soon as she came on the field, Jyoti scored a goal by dodging the opponent players. This was Jyoti Chauhan's first international goal. India's next match will be against Bangladesh on 23 October. The final match of the competition will be played on 30 October.
