150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram - Nationwide Celebrations

Vande Mataram, the national song of India, will resonate across 150 locations today. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing grand programs nationwide to mark the 150th anniversary of the song. On 7 November 2025, BJP workers and citizens across all states, districts, and mandals will sing 'Vande Mataram' together.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to participate in this campaign. Special programs will also be organized in Dhanbad, featuring cultural performances. The song was composed by freedom fighter and renowned author Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875. It inspired India's struggle for independence and became a source of motivation for freedom fighters.
