For recruitment to 500 posts of police sub-inspectors in Madhya Pradesh, merit list will be prepared by combining marks of physical efficiency test, written test and interview. 30-40% marks will be given to physical efficiency and 10-12% marks to interview. The recruitment process is likely to start in November and be completed by June next year. Police headquarters has again sent a proposal to the government for recruitment. Earlier this year also a proposal was sent to the government, but the government had asked for some clarifications. After this, a revised proposal has been sent this month. After the notification is issued by the Home Department, the recruitment process will start from the Staff Selection Board. However, even after the notification is issued, the recruitment process is sure to take five to six months. The recruitment process is expected to start from November. In such a situation, new sub-inspectors will be available only by June next year. Apart from the provision of examination, other recruitment rules will also be mentioned in the government notification. Rules like age limit, height, weight and reservation etc. will be included. After almost five years, police sub-inspectors are going to be recruited. About 1.5 lakh applications are expected for these posts. In this, 50 percent marks are for written examination and 50 percent for physical efficiency test. There is no provision for interview.
