KP Sharma Oli became the Prime Minister of Nepal for the fourth time, 22 ministers including two deputy prime ministers took oath. Nepal's newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli took oath of office and secrecy for the fourth time. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath in a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
KP Sharma Oli took oath as the Prime Minister of Nepal for the fourth time. This is the third time he has taken oath after the constitution was issued in Nepal. Oli has become the Prime Minister twice in the first term after the constitution was issued and once during the Constituent Assembly. This time he has become the Prime Minister with the support of the Nepali Congress.
Along with Prime Minister Oli, two deputy prime ministers have also taken oath today. Prakashman Singh from the Nepali Congress took oath as the Deputy Prime Minister with the Ministry of Urban Development, while Vishnu Paudel from the UML Party took oath as the Deputy Prime Minister with the Ministry of Finance.
Apart from these, 19 cabinet ministers have been included in the Oli cabinet. Among the ministers who took oath today, 9 are from Nepali Congress, 8 from CPN-UML, 2 from Janata Samajwadi Party and 1 from Loktantrik Samajwadi Party. Among them, Arju Rana from Congress has taken oath as Foreign Minister, Ramesh Lekhak as Home Minister, Deepak Khadka as Energy, Ajay Chaurasia as Law, Pradeep Paudel as Health, Badri Pandey as Tourism and Civil Aviation, Tejulal Chaudhary as Youth and Sports, Ramnath Adhikari as Agriculture and Ain Bahadur Mahar as Forest Minister.
Similarly, from UML, Prithvisubba Gurung has taken oath as Information and Communication, Vidya Bhattarai as Education, Damodar Bhandari as Industry, Devendra Dahal as Physical Foundation, Raj Kumar Gupta as Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Manveer Rai, Balram Adhikari as Land Management Ministry.
From smaller parties, Sharat Singh Bhandari has taken oath as Labor, Pirdeep Yadav as Drinking Water, Naval Kishore Sah as Women, Children and Senior Citizen Minister.
