The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) kicked off its India Leadership Summit 2024 in New Delhi. During this, an important meeting was held between the Board of Directors and India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. The event highlighted the importance of strengthening strategic and economic ties between the US and India. In a discussion with USISPF Chairman John T Chambers, Minister Jaishankar emphasized the natural synergy between the two countries. He discussed policy continuity under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and opportunities for American investors. Jaishankar also urged to support the 'PM Internship Scheme' to increase the employability of youth and develop a skilled workforce. The summit aims to enhance supply chains, promote semiconductor investment, advance AI and next-generation technologies, strengthen defense ties, promote clean energy and expand bilateral trade. It brings together senior Cabinet Ministers, (USISPF) Board delegations, global business leaders, and key policy makers for high-level discussions.
