Chowna Mein took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the second consecutive time. Pema Khandu took oath as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh at a ceremony in Itanagar.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General Kaivalya Trivikram Parnayak (Retd) administered the oath of office to the ministers.

A total of 11 MLAs, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, took oath of office in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly today.

Biuram Wahge, Nyato Dukam, Gabriel Denwang Wangsu, Pasang Dorjee Sona, Mama Natung, Dasanglu Pul and Kento Jini are among the 11 Cabinet members who took oath today.

Union ministers Amit Shah, JO Nadda, Kiren Rijiju and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, among others, attended the swearing-in ceremony held at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre in Itanagar.

The BJP returned to power in the state for the third consecutive time by winning 46 seats in the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh Assembly in elections held simultaneously with the Parliamentary elections.

The Prime Minister congratulated Shri Pema Khandu on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Prime Minister also congratulated the other Ministers who were sworn in. He wished them all the best for their future endeavours to serve the people by ensuring development at an even faster pace.
