This is the second consecutive time that Prem Singh Tamang took oath as the Chief Minister of Sikkim. Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Tamang. Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) President Prem Singh Tamang took oath as the Chief Minister of the state. This is the second consecutive time that Tamang has become the Chief Minister of Sikkim. The swearing-in ceremony was organized at Paljor Stadium in Sikkim. Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Tamang. Along with Tamang, eight newly elected MLAs also took oath as ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also congratulated Prem Singh Tamang on becoming the Chief Minister of Sikkim again. PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X, 'I wish Prem Singh Tamang a successful tenure on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Sikkim and look forward to working with him for the progress of Sikkim.'
