Due to the Republic Day parade and Beating Retreat ceremony, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Circuit-1) will be closed to the public from 21 to 29 January. Circuit-1 takes visitors on a tour of the main building of Rashtrapati Bhavan, showing them the courtyards, important rooms, and the Long Drawing Room. A statement issued by the President’s office said that due to rehearsals for the Republic Day parade, the Guard of Change ceremony will also not be held on 11, 18, and 25 January. The Guard of Change ceremony, which is a military tradition, is held every week at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. This year, approximately 10,000 special guests have been invited for the Republic Day parade. These include Sarpanchs, disaster relief workers, water warriors, handloom and handicraft artisans, participants of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, My India volunteers, guests from northeastern states, and the best start-ups.
Rashtrapati Bhavan Closed from 21 to 29 January

Change in Guard of Change Ceremony
The Guard of Change ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan is a military tradition held every week. However, due to rehearsals for the Republic Day parade, this ceremony will not be held on 11, 18, and 25 January.

For this year’s Republic Day parade, around 10,000 special guests have been invited.
