The first FIR was registered under the new law Indian Justice Code (IJC) in Hanumanganj police station of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, the FIR has been registered under the section of abusive language under section 173.

Three new justice-centric laws Indian Justice Code, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act have come into force across the country after 12 midnight on June 30. Bhopal Police is fully prepared for its implementation.

Now a sub-inspector has been made the nodal officer in every police station for this law. New software has been uploaded in CCTNS to register FIR under the sections of the new law.
