In the Regional Industry Conclave held in Gwalior, an investment of 8000 crores came in the state. On this occasion, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 47 new industrial units costing Rs 1586 crore in five districts with a single click. Land allotment letters were also provided to 120 industrial units. Along with this, eight district level Industry Facilitation Centers of Gwalior-Chambal district were inaugurated. These centers have been started in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Guna and Ashoknagar. Representatives from Mexico, Zambia also participated in the conclave. A big hospital will be opened in the private sector in Gwalior. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the Jai Vilas entrance gate built by Gwalior Smart City Development Corporation Limited.
This conclave was focused on the theme of heritage, history and industry. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition focused on the possibilities of industrial development in the micro, small and medium enterprise sector. The start of these units will vibrate throughout the state. Development of entrepreneurship is possible with favorable conditions. Gwalior has been the land of sages and music practitioners. Gwalior has been a major center in terms of industry and investment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work of getting the money to the workers of Hukum Chand Mill, Indore was done in the state. This work was pending for many years. This should be the duty of the government. The problems of sick industrial units should also be solved. Now necessary decisions will be taken for other such matters. The problem of JC Mill Gwalior will also be solved on the lines of Hukum Chand Mill. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to start a private sector hospital in Gwalior in the medical and health sector. Police post in Sitapur and fire station in industrial area will also be started.
Employment opportunities will be created
Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department, Shri Raghavendra Kumar Singh informed that 121 meetings have been held by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in the state. Preparations are being made for the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal on 7-8 February 2025. Investment is coming in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has done 51 virtual launches of various industrial units in the recent past. This will create employment for about 8300 people.
