On June 4, Hurun India and Candera released the 2025 Women Leaders List, honoring 97 influential women who are shaping India's economy. Among them, 10 of the most powerful women collectively own assets worth ₹2 lakh crore.
Shanti Ekambaram, the Joint Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Bank, topped the list of India’s leading professional women. Radha Vembu, co-founder of Zoho, led the list of first-generation wealth creators with a net worth of ₹55,300 crore.
Meanwhile, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Technologies, led the next-generation women leaders list. HCL Technologies is valued at ₹4.87 lakh crore, showcasing her massive corporate influence.
The list represents a wide spectrum of sectors and age groups, including young influencers like 26-year-old Mrunal Panchal. It highlights the growing diversity and power of Indian women in business, technology, and leadership.
Of the 95 billionaire women featured, 38 are from Mumbai alone — underlining the city’s position as a hub for women entrepreneurs and leaders.
