India U-19 Squad for England Tour Announced

The BCCI has announced the India U-19 squad for the upcoming tour of England. The 16-member squad will play one warm-up game, five One-Day Internationals, and two multi-day matches from June 24 to July 23.

17-year-old Ayush Mhatre has been named captain of the team, while 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also earned a place in the squad. Both Ayush and Vaibhav impressed in IPL 2025, which was their debut season.

Ayush scored 206 runs in 6 IPL matches at an average of 34.33 and a strike rate of 187.27. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 252 runs in 7 matches with an average of 36 and an impressive strike rate of 206.55. He also hit one century and one half-century during the season.
