The state government has provided internet connectivity, laptops, and computers to all 23,250 Panchayats in Madhya Pradesh. However, development activities were still being carried out in the old manner. But this year, like the state, the Panchayats of Madhya Pradesh are also preparing their annual agenda for development activities in advance. This agenda includes roads, wells, schools, boundaries, lights, and ponds in the villages. In the past 15 days, 15,000 out of the 23,250 Panchayats in Madhya Pradesh have submitted online plans for ₹5000 crore worth of works to the Janpad Panchayat. Of these, 8400 files have been approved by the Janpad Panchayat and have reached the District Panchayat level.

Advance Plans for All Panchayats to Be Prepared by January 20

The target is to prepare advance plans for all 23,250 Panchayats at the state level by January 20. This has been made possible with the help of the planning software created by the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Guarantee Council. Madhya Pradesh is the first state to create a parallel planning software alongside the regular MGNREGA software. This software was developed by the MGNREGA team in Madhya Pradesh. On February 10, a presentation will be made to the Government of India regarding the works under MGNREGA, so that the budget can be allocated on time for the next financial year.
