The Chief Electoral Officer has announced the date of 15 October 2024 for the by-election to be held in 02-Vijaypur Assembly of Sheopur district and 156- Budhni Assembly constituency of Sehore district. With the announcement of the dates of the by-election, the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect in Sheopur and Sehore districts. The Model Code of Conduct will be strictly followed. Nomination papers will be filled for the by-election from 18 October 2024. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on 28 October 2024. Nomination papers can be withdrawn till 30 October 2024. Voting will be held on 13 November 2024 and counting of votes will be done on 23 November 2024.
